Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 2026 • LocalDataUK

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website and using our lead generation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Service Description

LocalDataUK provides a data extraction service that sources publicly available business information from Google Maps. We provide this data in CSV format delivered via email.

3. The "Area Exhaustion" Rule

If a scrape returns less than 50% of the purchased tier due to a lack of data in that specific area, the user can request a "Top-up search" for a different city for free. Contact us at info@localdatauk.com with your original order details and your preferred replacement UK city.

4. Tier Recommendation

Disclaimer: We recommend the Pro Tier for major cities (London, Birmingham, Manchester). For smaller towns, the Starter Tier is usually sufficient.

5. No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital data, all sales are final. Once a "Deep Scrape" has been initiated and credits have been consumed on our backend, we cannot offer refunds. By purchasing a lead package, you acknowledge that you are paying for the service of data extraction, regardless of the specific business outcomes of those leads.

6. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

The data we provide is sourced from third-party public listings. While we strive for quality, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or "freshness" of the data. Businesses may have closed, changed phone numbers, or moved since the last Google Maps update. LocalDataUK is not responsible for any inaccuracies.

7. Marketing Compliance (PECR & GDPR)

You are solely responsible for how you use the lead data. In the UK, business-to-business (B2B) marketing is regulated by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK-GDPR.

  • You must offer a clear "opt-out" or "unsubscribe" in all communications.
  • You must not contact individuals who have registered with the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) unless you have prior consent.
  • You agree to indemnify LocalDataUK against any legal action resulting from your misuse of the provided data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalDataUK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or lead data.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
